NCIMS-Approved Somatic Cell Counter uses LED light source.

Approved by Lab Committee of the National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS), SomaScope(TM) Smart incorporates flow cytometer and Led technology. LED illuminates stained cells in sample, and dual photomultiplier tubes detect cells. Resultingly, there are no warm-up wait times and no light source hot spots. Along with 30 sec analysis time, functional efficiency is promoted via wizard-driven software. Calibration exceeds IDF/ISO/FDA/NCIMS standards.
